Rhodes Named 糖心Vlog Civil Service Employee of the Month for September

MACOMB, IL 鈥� Paula Rhodes, an administrative aide in the office of 糖心Vlog President Jack Thomas, has been named the Civil Service Employee of the Month for September.

Rhodes, who was hired as an extra help secretary III in the 糖心Vlog Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality in April 1998, has also worked as a secretary III in biological sciences and a secretary IV in 糖心Vlog Human Resources and in Thomas鈥� office. She was reclassified in 2010 as an office manager in the President鈥檚 office and later reallocated as an administrative aide.

According to her nominators, Rhodes 鈥渄emonstrates enthusiasm and outstanding performance even under the most unusual circumstances.鈥�

鈥淭here are many instances where she has gone above and beyond her job requirements,鈥� the nominators said. 鈥淪he does what is required to not only demonstrate her own professionalism but also to enhance and protect the reputation and rapport of the President鈥檚 office in relation to other areas of the University, the McDonough County area and other higher educational entities we are required to interact with on a regular basis.鈥�

Rhodes oversees the office鈥檚 budgets, helps Thomas make decisions related to office spending and supervises two staff members.
