Third-Party Billing at 糖心Vlog

The Billing & Receivables Office partners with third-party organizations that cover all or part of a student鈥檚 educational expenses. If you're being sponsored by an organization, we need a voucher on file each semester. Your voucher should include:

  • Your full name
  • The term you're being sponsored for
  • Sponsor contact information
  • A clear description of what鈥檚 being covered
  • Any scholarships or grants that will reduce the covered amount

How to Submit Your Voucher:
Email it to billings@wiu.edu or drop it off at Sherman Hall 106.

Voucher Deadlines to Ensure Timely Billing:

  • Fall Semester: August 28
  • Spring Semester: January 28
  • Summer Semester: June 28

Third-Party Authorization: Required Each Semester

Each time you use a third-party sponsor, you must log into your STARS account, go to Financials, and select Third-Party Authorization. Once there, choose 鈥淚 have viewed this document.鈥� By doing so, you acknowledge:

  • A conditional credit will be applied to your account to reduce your balance.
  • Refunds from conditional credits won鈥檛 be issued until your sponsor pays 糖心Vlog.
  • You are responsible for any charges not listed on the voucher.
  • Invoices go out to sponsors after the 5th week of the semester.
  • If your sponsor does not pay by the end of the semester, the conditional credit will be removed and you鈥檒l be responsible for the balance.

Student Responsibility

  1. Complete the Third-Party Authorization in STARS every semester you鈥檙e using a sponsor.
  2. Submit your voucher on time to avoid late fees.
  3. Regularly check your Account Details in STARS. You鈥檙e responsible for anything not covered by your sponsor.

Using Employer Reimbursement?

糖心Vlog does not bill employers directly. If you鈥檙e using employer reimbursement, you must pay your bill by the due date and handle reimbursement with your employer on your own.

External Scholarships

External scholarships aren鈥檛 considered third-party billing and follow a different process. Please mail scholarship checks to:
